the staff was lively and competent. the accommodation was pleasant and clean. 3. the food was well presented at the café. 4. the location was marvellous and perfect, opposite a lovely leafy square near the river, convenient to go everywhere.

That was extremely convenient and fantastic little hotel set in nice safe area, very close to shops, cafes, restaurants and centre as well as comfortable restaurant. It had very nice helpful staff. The location was good and ideal - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Our experience here was enjoyable.

This place is so conveniently situated - close to tasty restaurants, the magnificent castle, and a charming river boat. And let's not forget, it's right at the heart of the city. the breakfast is pretty decent too, making the location even more amazing.

This is an excellent little place for an overnight stay. It boasts an incredible, ideal location so close to restaurants of Chinon, and the cafe for breakfast. - the restaurant serves creative local food.

Typical French family hotel. Room comfortable, clean etc - not luxury (did not expect luxory). Restaurant surprisingly good (as you come to expect in France) - wine marvellous (Chinon).

There was inadequate space for the storage and hanging of clothes. We had to keep most in our suitcases, taking up floor space. The lighting avialable in the room was poor, though one appreciates the intention to reduce energy use.

breakfast poor value for money, in depressing surroundings. pain au chocolate were like biscuits, limited choice for 8 euros. bedding in room poor, blankets are unsuitable, shower flooded out of the bathroom onto the carpet.

Bedroom cushion uncomfortable, wifi not working in my floor. After requested to the front desk to fix it, answer was that the problem was my computer...so everyday I had to go downstairs and conect to another hotspot in the same hotel, outsode my room. So the problem was not in my computer. So a bit more attention was missing here.

pleasant, breakfast was simple but nice, very nice area opposite the river, staff at hotel were lovely. we enjoyed our stay, very country france which is what we wanted.

we found it hard to find even though it was near the main road as opposite large car park.

We parked on site. The location was very central, right by a separate restaurant, lovely leafy square near the river and town centre. It was also close to the cafe for breakfast.

The location of the hotel was perfect being on the edge of the old town.

The decor in the rooms was very heavy and poorly coordinated - brown, orange gold and red! Plastic sheets on the beds. The breakfast was not worth the 8 Euro charged.
